The 18-hole track at The Golf Club at Rancho California, formerly known as The SCGA Golf Course, was designed by the prolific architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr, who in his long and distinguished career designed/re-designed around 500 golf courses in 40 states and 35 different countries. His international influence on the game of golf resulted in the popularization of the phrase, “The sun never sets on a Robert Trent Jones golf course.”
Originally opened as an SCGA Members Course in 1987, the club is now called The Golf Club at Rancho California. The par-72 layout boasts a course rating of 73.3 and a slope rating of 134. The course is well known for offering gorgeous views of the Murrieta and Temecula valleys.
