This is the more dramatic, elevated layout that climbs straight up into the rocky foothills. It features Hole #3, a tiny 107 yard Par 3 that requires a shot over a plunging, cactus filled ravine to a green encased in rugged granite. It is widely noted as one of the most photographed golf holes west of the Mississippi.
The Canyon Course:
While slightly more forgiving from the tee than the Mountain course, it is no slouch. It winds down through the scenic Esperero Canyon, framing landmarks like “Whaleback Rock” and finishing on a gorgeous uphill Par 5 backed by a cascading waterfall.
