Although this course was only built in 2001, it’s hard to imagine this piece of land being anything else but a golf course. That’s because the course was designed to complement the natural gentle hillsides and rolling terrain rather than work against them.

The property was originally a stable and equestrian center filled with large meadows and dense wooded areas. In fact, it was these properties that originally drew the designers to this location. Through placing the holes in between the natural coverage provided by the mature trees, the designers were able to frame the fairways and greens in a manner that is not only beautiful to the eye but also provides a feeling of privacy for the golfer. Add this all together, and Royal Ontario is nothing but a real treat for golf enthusiasts.
