In 1965 the Oceana Land Co. built the 9 hole Oceana Golf Course in conjunction with the development of the Oceana community. After several closures and changes in lease-holders, in 1986, the property reopened as Emerald Isle Golf Course, featuring an 18-hole course that stretches 2,452 yards for a par of 56. The course offers players of all ages and skill levels, a fast, fun and affordable golf experience, excellent course conditions.
