About The Club

With the gorgeous Niagara Escarpment as a backdrop, seconds from the 403, Chedoke Civic Golf club has been entertaining golfers since 1924. Chedoke Civic Golf Club offers two 18-hole courses just five minutes from downtown Hamilton. Designed by the legendary Stanley Thompson, Chedoke was Canada’s first 36-hole municipal golf facility. Currently, both courses are now overseen by award-winning architect Graham Cooke.

About The Martin Course

The Martin Course, named after Chedoke’s first Club President George Martin, started out as a nine-hole layout back in the day, but has since developed into a short but tough 18-hole track. Owning the title of the city’s oldest track, the holes are mostly straightforward, but demand accuracy to avoid trouble. There are lots of big trees lining the fairways, while the putting surfaces are small and challenging to read with the escarpment in the background.
